My Favorite Things: March Edition

As March comes to a close, I wanted to share my newest (and not so new) obsessions. From lashes to skincare products, here are my favorites from this month:
Skincare (Face)
CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser
This cleanser is my new favorite cleanser! It’s gentle and great for normal to oily skin (which I have). It also doesn’t clog your pores, which is HUGE for me. You can get this at any local grocery or cosmetic store.
CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Also from CeraVe, this serum serves as a source of hydration (in addition to your daily moisturizer) with ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5. I love it because it helps my skin stay soft and smooth! Being in my late 20s, it is definitely important for me to stay on top of taking care of my skin.
Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water
I have been meaning to try this, and I’m glad I did!. This does a really good job with removing my makeup, including my waterproof products! Although it acts as a cleansing agent and removes dirt/oil, I like to use this before washing my face with my usual cleanser.
Skincare (Body)
A Thousand Wishes Ultra Shea Body Cream
This lotion is no stranger in my household. It’s one of my favorites to use, and it smells great! It has notes of crystal peonies, gilded amber, amaretto creme, and more. (like a sweet floral smell) It’s super moisturizing as well. I like to use it for special occasions, like date nights. You can get this at Bath & Body Works
Tree Hut Coco Colada Shea Body Butter
This was recommended to me by someone, who then saw it on Youtube. It’s super moisturizing and smells AMAZING. The scent doesn’t come off as one of those harsh, coconut-like scents. It’s subtle enough to enjoy, and it lasts through out the day as well. You can get this at Walmart or Ulta.
**I also like to mix these two together, sometimes. In a way, they compliment each other!
Fragrance
Mon Paris by Yves Saint Laurent
This perfume is my ABSOLUTE favorite! Mon Paris by YSL has been sworn to be a favorite amongst women everywhere, and even a favorite fragrance that men love for women to wear. It has notes of Raspberry, Bergamot, White Peony, Patchouli, and more. I’ve been wearing this fragrance for a while, and it’s always my go-to for any occasion. You can get this at your local department stores.
R.E.M by Ariana Grande
Inspired by one of the songs on her album, Ariana Grande came out with a fragrance called REM. (Which is also one of my favorite songs!) I found out about this through Tiktok, where it was named one of the most complimented fragrances. When I first bought it, I was hesitant because it reminded me of a smell I didn’t like. But I wore it anyway, and I don’t regret buying it! I always get compliments whenever I wear REM, and I’ve grown to love it. It has notes of Sandalwood, Zefir, Caramel, Fig, Lavender, and more. You can grab REM at your local department stores.
Hair Products
Maui Moisture Curl Foam Mousse
This was something I got on a whim, while I was grocery shopping. I’m so glad that I got this because it made my curls POP. It also works on curly wigs, or crochet braids, and it smells really good. My only suggestion would be to follow up with a light oil, because it did dry my hair a lot. This can be found at stores like Target, Walmart, or Ulta.
Texture ID Twist Butter
The Texture ID Twist Butter is great for twist outs and sealing moisture for your curls! It’s super moisturizing, and it helps with curl definition. Some of the key ingredients in the twist butter are sweet almond oil, honey, and yogurt extract, which are all great for maintaining moisture. You can find this at Sally’s.
Amazon Finds
3D Whispy Lashes by Newcally
I found these lashes on TikTok, and I couldn’t resist getting them! They come in a pack of 10, which lasts me for a few weeks to a month. The lashes are whispy, natural, yet dramatic, which is the perfect combination for me! You can get them on Amazon for $9.99, which is a good deal!
