Protective Styling with a Headband Wig | feat. Luvme Hair

As a girl with natural hair, I know that protective styling is VERY important. I like to wear wigs, braids, crochet, pretty much anything. The newest thing to try now is a headband wig. Headband wigs are great for anyone who wants to get up and go, without spending extra time doing your hair. They also don’t have any lace, which can be viewed as a time saver. I know that we all have moments where we wish we could just throw on something cute and leave the house in a decent amount of time, and headband wigs will give you just that.

Luvme Hair has sent me a headband wig, and it is FANTASTIC! I got the Jerry Curl Headband Wig in 20 inches. When I received the hair, I was very excited! The packaging it came in was beautiful, and it had some goodies in it as well. Inside the package was the wig, 2 wig caps, 5 headbands, bobby pins, a hair clip, a silk scarf, and a brush for your edges.

The wig came with a headband attached to it, along with 3 combs in the front and one in the back for extra security. The hair itself was really soft, natural looking, and reminded me of my own natural hair. There was little-to-no shedding and tangling, which was a plus in my eyes!

Once I put on the wig, I was amazed. I fluffed out the curls and added some Curl Simulator from Uncle Funky’s Daughter, and I was ready to go. I LOVED how the wig looked. It looked so natural, that it looked like it was my own hair with a headband on. I wore it for multiple days, and the hair held up pretty well. The headbands covered the tracks really well, which helped the wig look more natural. Here are some of the looks:

Another cool thing you can do with this wig is turn it into a half wig. I took the headband attached to the wig and tucked it underneath. Once I secured the wig, I took some of my own hair out and blended it in with the hair from the wig. It looked super natural, and it was easy to style. I loved the fact that I could wear this wig with and without a headband. It allows me to take a break from wearing lace wigs, or even wearing my own hair out.

Final thoughts: I really like this wig. It’s beautiful, easy to install and wear, and very convenient! I also love that I can wear it without a headband if I want to. I’ve had this wig for about a month, and it’s still holding up! Thank you, Luvme Hair, for the opportunity to try this wig.
